Notes From People Who Have Used the Bay
Collected from follow-up calls and emails. We have included the sessions that ended without a purchase, because those say more about how the studio works than the ones that ended with a full bag order.
“Twenty minutes of impression tape did more for my driving than two seasons of swing thoughts. I was hitting it an inch above centre and losing four hundred rpm of the wrong kind of spin. Nobody had ever put tape on the face before.”
“The roll lane camera settled an argument I had been having with myself for six years. On every left-to-right miss the face was open at separation. A change of toe hang did what four lessons had not.”
“I arrived ready to spend two thousand dollars on new irons and left with a bill for a hundred and forty. Two degrees flat, a quarter inch shorter, new grips. My seven iron goes to the same place now, which it never did.”
“What I appreciated was being told plainly that my problem was a swing path, not equipment. They could have sold me a draw-biased driver. Instead I got a phone number for a coach and a note saying come back in six months.”
“My daughter is fourteen and shot up four inches last winter. They measured her, lengthened what could be lengthened and told us which two clubs were worth replacing rather than selling us a whole junior set.”
“The wedge session was done partly in the bunker they keep out back and partly off a dormant lie. That is the first time anybody has fitted me for the ground I actually play on in October.”
“I have been through three putters in four years chasing a feel. Priya measured my arc, put me in a half toe hang at sixty-nine degrees of lie and explained why the last three were wrong. First three-putt-free round in a long time.”
“Full bag review, split over two evenings because I could not do a long afternoon. They kept six of my clubs, changed the specification on four and replaced four. The written report explained every single call.”
“I am seventy-one and had been told for years that I needed a senior flex. Turns out what I needed was forty grams lighter with a softer tip. Ten yards back on the mid irons at an age where I expected to keep losing them.”
“Dell rebuilt a set of irons I inherited from my father rather than telling me to bin them. New shafts, corrected lies, proper swingweight. They feel like something made for me now instead of a keepsake I could not use.”
How We Collect and Publish Feedback
Every client gets a short follow-up message about a month after their session, once the clubs have had a few real rounds rather than a few range balls. We ask two questions: has the dispersion actually improved, and would you have changed anything about the session.
Everything above is published with permission, with the town and month retained so the note is traceable rather than anonymous marketing copy. We do not edit the substance. Where a quote has been shortened, it was for length only.
Negative feedback exists too and it usually concerns the same thing: the baseline block at the start of a session feels slow to a player who came in wanting to hit new clubs immediately. That is a fair criticism of how it feels and a bad reason to change it.

Book a session, play a few rounds with whatever the report recommends, then tell us honestly whether it made a difference. Both answers are useful to us.
