Who You Work With

Four People, One Bench, No Sales Floor

Small enough that you will know who fitted you and who built the club. When you ring back with a question six months later, the person answering will remember the session.

Roland Whitcomb

Founder & Lead Fitter

Spent twelve years on a retail repair bench before opening this studio, which is where the scepticism about ball-flight-only fitting came from. He watched hundreds of sessions produce recommendations that fell apart on the course and concluded the missing measurement was always the same one: where the club actually arrived.

Roland takes most driver and fairway wood bookings. He is the person most likely to tell you that the club you brought is fine and the problem is a half inch of length.

Priya Raghunathan

Putter Lab Director

Came from a background in motion analysis before golf, which shows in how the roll lane is set up. She rebuilt the lane camera rig twice to get a clean read of face angle at the moment of separation rather than at some approximation of impact.

Priya runs every Putter Lab booking and has an unusually strong opinion about toe hang: it is a measurable setting derived from your face rotation, and choosing it by feel is how people end up buying four putters in three years.

  • With the studio since2017
  • Usually fitsPutters, wedges

Dell Marchetti

Build Room Manager

Everything that leaves the building has been through Dell's hands. He tip-trims, epoxies, sets ferrules, weighs, bends and checks frequency on every completed club, and he keeps a written build record for each one so a rebuild years later starts from facts rather than memory.

He is also the one who will refuse to sign off a club that measures a point outside the target swingweight, which occasionally irritates everyone else and is invariably correct.

Susanna Vogt

Fitting Coordinator & Junior Programme

Susanna handles the diary, takes most of the phone calls and runs the junior and beginner sessions. She holds a PGA teaching qualification, which is why she is the person who will tell you honestly when a fitting will not fix what you are describing.

The growth-review programme for junior players is hers: measure now, book a check against expected height gain, adjust rather than replace wherever the club allows it.

How the Team Works

Everything Is Reviewed by a Second Pair of Eyes

Before any build sheet is signed off, a second person reads it against the session data. It costs ten minutes and it catches the mistakes that matter: a lie recommendation that does not match the board reading, a shaft weight that jumps two classes without a reason written down, a length change that would push swingweight outside the target without a counterweight.

The same habit applies to disagreements. If Roland and Priya read a stroke differently, the answer is more data rather than seniority — another block, another camera angle. It is slower, and it keeps us from becoming a studio where one person's preference quietly becomes house policy.

Tell us who you would like to work with in the booking note. If they are unavailable in your window, we will say so rather than quietly reassigning you.
