What Bench Time Costs, and Why It Is Charged
The fee buys a technician, a bay and a written specification — not a sales appointment. It is charged so the recommendation can be honest, and it is credited back in full if you order the build from us.
Single Club Session
- Baseline block on your current club
- Impression tape and lie board reading
- Down-the-line video at 240 fps
- Head, shaft, length and lie comparison
- Printed and emailed specification
Putter Lab
- Face angle at separation, 1,000 fps
- Launch, skid distance and true roll point
- Stroke arc width against the target line
- Toe hang, lie, loft and length matched to the reading
- Same-day bend and length work where possible
Iron Set Session
- Lie board across four reference irons
- Length and swingweight progression
- Gapping check using measured carry
- Shaft profile comparison
- Written per-club build sheet
Full Bag Review
- Driver through wedge, plus the putter
- Whole-bag distance gapping map
- Priority order for what to change first
- Keep-or-replace call on every club
- Full written report with the raw blocks
Workshop Rates
You do not need a fitting appointment to use the workshop. Bring clubs in during bench hours, or leave them with us and collect later in the week. Parts are charged at cost plus the labour figure below.

Turnaround is normally two to four working days. Urgent same-day work can sometimes be accommodated — call and ask.
How the Build Credit Works
Order a build from us within ninety days of your session and the full session fee comes off the invoice. It applies to one session fee per build order.

- Applies to specification-only work on your own clubs
- No minimum order value
- No expiry beyond the ninety-day window
If you take the specification elsewhere, you owe nothing further and the report is still yours.
Where the Fee Comes Down
Juniors Under Sixteen
Half rate on any single-club or putter session, and the annual growth review is free for as long as they keep coming back.
Second Session Within a Year
Twenty-five dollars off any follow-up booked inside twelve months of a previous session, because the baseline work is already done.
Two Players, Same Visit
Book consecutive slots on the same day and the second session is twenty dollars lighter. Same bay, same technician.
Off-Season Bench Work
Full set loft and lie audits are ten dollars cheaper between December and February when the bench is quieter.
What the Fee Does Not Cover
Components
Heads, shafts and grips are charged separately at published prices. We do not mark component prices up to subsidise a discounted session fee.
Coaching
We are fitters, not instructors. If a session shows that the constraint is technique, we will say so and suggest you spend the money on lessons instead.
Guaranteed Yardage
Nobody can promise a number. What we can promise is a smaller dispersion pattern and a written record proving whether it improved.
